Gostovanje naših 56 prijatelja iz projekta Comenius

Day 1 l sabor (19) (Large)Na početku moramo reći – HVALA SVIMA KOJI SU POMOGLI U ORGANIZACIJI OVE SJAJNE MANIFESTACIJE!

Arianna, Italija
We were guests of our Croatian partners. I enjoyed my stay a lot, my host Tena and her family put me up, they were very nice and kind. We worked on the Comenius project at their school, which is small but new with lots of high tech equipment, it is very different from ours! During the week we visited a lot of interesting places: the city and its monuments, the Parliament; the Plitvicka National Park, which is a wonderful place full of lakes and waterfalls; the Neanderthal Museum and a lot of other tourist sites! We saw how traditional wood toys are built and how the gingerbread heart biscuits are prepared, we also tried to decorate them. It was very fun! It was an awesome experience, I enjoyed it very much. I had a great time and I am really grateful for this opportunity. I met a lot of nice people and I am looking forward to meeting them again in Italy

Camilla, Italija
I am very proud to have taken part to the group who went to Croatia. It was an exciting experience, although I admit that at the beginning I was a little bit anxious. Even though I was in a different country away from home, I never felt lonely. I once more want to thank my host family who made me feel at ease so much so that I felt like I had become a part of their family. If there was an opportunity to do it again, I would go immediately. The thing that I liked most was the National Park of Plitvice Lakes because it was a very relaxing place and I felt at peace, the feeling you have when you are at home. This is how I felt in Croatia: at home. This journey will remain in my heart along with people who accompanied me throughout this experience.

Rugile Repsyte, Lithuania
I really enjoyed the time in Croatia. That was one of the best weeks in my life. Every day we saw and heard something new about this beautiful country. It left a big impression in my life. I saw ‘Plitvice Lakes’ for the first time in my life and that was incredible.
We were in Zagorje and watched how to make gingerbread hearts and musical instruments. Later we made our own musical instruments and gingerbread hearts which are included in the UNESCO heritage list. It wasn’t so easy to make how it seemed.
When I lived at my hosts, I didn’t see a big difference from Croatia and Lithuania culture customs. Only Croatian food is a little different from Lithuanian.
I met a lot of people from different countries. They were all very friendly and they never left us alone. We also never got bored. Every day from early morning to the late evening we spend all time together.
I hope that one day, I’ll come back to Croatia, meet my friends and visit again Zagreb and the other cities!

Sofia, Italija
I had a great time in Zagreb. Every day I learned a lot of new words and traditional aspects about this city. I was hosted by a Croatian girl, called Allina. She is generous and her family are kind. I did not see a lot of differences between Italian and Croatian culture, but I saw some differences between our food. In Allina’s school I met a lot of young people; they were very friendly. I saw for the first time ‘Plitvice Lakes’, it was beautiful. In the evening, after school, I went out with my new friends and we had fun. We went to a concert of a famous Croatian group. I learned how to make gingerbread biscuits and old wooden musical instruments which was fantastic, because I had never experienced this before. When I left the city I cried because I was very sad to say goodbye to my new friends. Now I really miss my host and her family but fortunately we are still in touch. I hope to meet her again in the future.

Emilija Valantinaviciute, Lithuania
I attended Comenius project and went to Croatia. I lived in a Croatian family for a week. I met new friends from other countries. All week passed very fast. It was very interesting.
We went to Croatia with four teachers. We flew by plane. I flew for the first time. It was new for me.
During the week we were near Plitvica lakes, we saw Zagreb and how Croatian traditional toys are made. Everything was very interesting. I improved my knowledge and my English language. It was a great trip!

Valeria
For a girl who loves studying languages like me, this Comenius experience was brilliant. Before leaving to Croatia I was a little bit nervous, first of all because it was my first journey alone and then because the idea of speaking only English for a week and staying in a country that isn’t mine scared me. I relieved as soon as I met my host, Dora and her family because they were very welcoming and smiling. They satisfied all my desires and they made me feel at home. Dora’s mum once cooked Italian pasta, but I think that Croatian food is delicious. This adventure was really useful to meet new people and to improve my English. I could discover new habits, cultures and make friendship with other boys and girls. I really had a great time!
