Hi! My name is Max and I’m from the future. Before you start asking questions, yes, flying cars have existed since 2050., teleportation is finally possible, after centuries of perfecting it, cloning is forbidden for its misuse, genetic modification abolished, a cure for cancer exists, as well as a cure for every disease, which lead us to the world’s population of over twelve billion. Since the Earth can’t handle that many people, we had to move half of our population to the object named CPO. “CPO” stands for “Colonial Population Object” and it is a planetary structure, the perfect imitation of the Earth which we built near our planet to live on. We still haven’t found a safe, close enough planet to move to, and that is why we had to build one ourselves. Since your time, our technology had a rapid progress and it became almost 1000 times more advanced. But I think there is no need for me to talk about it too much, simply because you wouldn’t understand. And no, robots didn’t destroy Earth, as you thought it would happen, but we made peace with aliens. More specific, Martians. They work for our government since the 20th century, but the reason you never knew about it is that it was one of the biggest secrets ever kept in your time. But neglecting it being a top secret, they have been caught on tapes of hotel and street cameras for a few times, so you might have heard of suspicious, tall, pale and mutually similar people, that have been seen coming to silence the ones who tried to uncover the government’s secrets. Yes, those are Martians, and it is believed that they have been among us ever since the ancient Egypt and with their help, we have built pyramids. But don’t be afraid of them, humans have a long history with Martians and you didn’t even know about it. Scientists have proven we originated from Mars, which was once just the same as the Earth is now. But we had our technology so advanced, we destroyed the planet’s complete surface. That’s when some stayed hidden, living in the underground of Mars, and some decided to move to Earth. The ones settling our planet, came here with a spacecraft for which it is believed to be the comet that destroyed dinosaurs. The whole set of events were described by Plato in his story about Atlantis, but humans could never interpret it correctly. Today, as a result of evolution, we look different from Martians. Thanks to gravity differences in the two planets and their distance from the Sun in our Solar System, Martians are taller and more pale than us. How do I happen to know all this, and how far in the future do I come from, you might ask yourself? The answer is forever. You are probably confused, but let me explain. I have a really important role in maintaining the algorithm in this universe and everything you know today is just as it is thanks to me. My job is to correct and encourage actions happening, so the balance could be accomplished. I constantly travel through time and change the facts that could have even the slightest bit of possibility of destroying the universe. But mistakes happen to me as well. For example, you might have heard of the Mandela effect. If you haven’t, it is a phenomenon in which a large segment of the population remembers an event differently or shares a memory of an event that didn’t happen. To complete this definition, I will give you some examples. Most of you probably remember a cartoon character named Mickey Mouse as a character that is wearing red pants with suspenders, or maybe Pikachu having a black end of his tale all the way to the famous sentence from the movie “Star Wars” where Darth Vader pronounces “Luke, I am your father!”. Well what if I told you Mickey Mouse never wore suspenders, Pikachu’s tale is completely yellow and Darth Vader never pronounced that sentence the exact way? Yes, those are my mistakes, and you weren’t supposed to remember those things differently, but the reason you do, is that they were really that way before I changed them. Every day I change a part of history, which you are not even conscious of. So who knows, maybe tomorrow you will not remember reading this story. But don’t worry, I only want the best for your civilization since this universe is one of the best and oldest experiments ever made. So who am I? Some call me God, some call me the Devil, and some Mother nature. But most importantly, I am the creator of your universe. I have been with you ever since the beginning of time. I am your time.
