Looks like we were born to destroy our planet. Some people say that it was because of pollution. I predict that it’s just our, human nature. When scientists predicted this, it was too late. People started dying. Thousands of shuttles were sent to the space. Scientist found a planet that is safe enough for people to live. I am still on Earth. I hope that someone will hear my message. I think that Earth isn’t dying, but it’s reborn. But first I want to roll back to the past so you can see how it got to this situation.
2037
Today, in the world, you can see many flying cars. Although, I think that they cause big pollution. They are flying but there are magnets that people put inside the Earth so they will keep cars flying. I think that magnets will make damage in the future. Every day, in Africa situation is getting worse and worse. People don’t even care about children that are dying there every day. People just gave up even though, every day, they are throwing food that could be useful. I can see many homeless people that lost their jobs because people gave jobs to robots that can work 24 hours without rest. Robots are damaging us more and more every day. People lost their homes and money because of robots. I think the statement that robots will once ruin people is becoming clear.
Back in 2045
While I am alone on Earth and nobody is responding to my messages, I have time to think. I am trying to figure out what has really happened to Earth. I miss those times when I was a child when I was around 15, even though I am 30 now. I was always playing with my friends even though sometimes we were on our social media but today children only spend time in their homes being on social media. They don’t enjoy real life. They just speak English like other languages have never existed. When I was a child I enjoyed learning new things and new languages but today everything is lost. Everybody says: “There is Google! We don’t need to learn from those big, fat books!”
People are faking their feelings. There isn’t real love. Nobody tells you their feelings. Everybody is dark, you can’t get near anybody, be their friend. Everybody is cold. Where did warmth disappear? Why did it need to disappear? Everything I touch becomes cold, I can’t get near anybody. I can’t find a close friend. Looks like in this world people need to be alone in their problems and in their happiness even though for me happiness isn’t being alone. That’s why I am still looking for some signs. I think that I’m not alone here. In this house on the hill I only have my little plant which gives me the hint of hope that there is a chance for us.
I need to live on the hill because oxygen up here isn’t as toxic. On this hill there is even some sun but everything I can see when I look down is a black cloud that makes me get chills. The only thing I can see makes me think that there isn’t hope but when everybody loses hope Earth is dead. I think that hope is the only thing which makes Earth want to fight. Earth deserves to live peacefully. It’s like our mother. Mother is always with us when we need her so we shouldn’t feel selfish and once and for all, when she needs us, be with her.
If this is called future I don’t want to live in it. We had everything that we could just imagine ten or fifteen years ago. We had flying cars, robots that will do things for us, nice houses, clothes and everything. We didn’t think about the only thing without all of this wouldn’t be possible. When we were warned about the things we were doing to Earth every day, when we were making things that we thought will make us happy.
When we were said don’t use plastic, use paper instead, it’s better, we thought what will my bag cause to the Earth. It’s only one bag, it won’t make damage. But if every person threw something it would make a huge difference and damage. But we weren’t capable of that. Now everybody is regretting that, but we need to leave Earth alone. It gave us beautiful oceans and forests but what are we leaving it with. Now it doesn’t look anything near to what it looked before all those things.
Finally, I got an answer to my message and one shuttle is going away and I need to go with it. Earth needs time and peace to recover. Only thing I will leave on Earth as a reminder is my plant and I hope that Earth will take good care of it and Earth isn’t selfish like us and it doesn’t want too much like us people.
I hope that one day we will get back here and the Earth will look better than ever, without unnecessary things which we think will make us happy. I hope that it will be reborn. I think that everybody believes it and that everybody is capable of damage that we made and that it won’t happen ever again.
Everybody can change future and there is always a way, you just need to figure it out.
